Creating an Offering Bowl for 'The Star' tarot card (the sign of Aquarius, the planet Saturn)

Updated: Jun 20, 2024

The TOMAR tarot card The Star, with symbols of Aquarius, and water jugs

🌞 Some simple Astral Magic 🌚 I’ve chosen 'The Star' tarot card for this ritual because it astrologically corresponds to the sign of ‘Aquarius’, symbolised by the two ‘water jugs’: the ‘air’ (aspiration) around the ‘water’ (emotional intuition) that creates a purely spiritual contemplation. This is a place to leave our physical situations behind so we can truly imagine the future we want - absolutely the sentiment I need to feel more sure of my direction, because my circumstances are muddled and confused. The phase of Aquarius (20 Jan - 18 Feb) associates with the planet ‘Saturn' (black colour) and ‘endings’. Saturn is the furthest clasical planet in the solar system, it encompases much of the wisdom of the cosmos so it represents graduations and boundaries. These boundaries may sound ominous in some situations, but they are much needed in others. Through the light of ‘The Star’ we glimpse an ending (the fruition of our desire), and once we have seen it, we can navigate our way towards it. The orchid flower echoes the sentiment of 'the rich rewards of waiting', or the virtue of 'beauty in patience'.

TOMAR incense ritual using styrax and myrrh resin

I've created an incense mix of Myrrh and Styrax resin, an aroma that reminds me of how to ‘sense’ a direction is right, because I have enjoyed something similar before. While burning my incence, I'm contemplating all of the symbols featured on 'The Star' tarot card so I can know their wisdom and revel my path. ** No orchids were harmed in the making of this post** 😌🌺🌙  #astralmagic #tarot #thestar #aquarius #saturn #tarotritual #tomar #offeringbowl
